The classic drawbar is simply a steel bar attached to the tractor to which the hitch of an implement is attached with a pin and clevis. Over time and strenuous use, drawbars can become worn, weakened, bend and in some cases even break. It is important to ensure your drawbar is in good condition so any tasks involving towing can be completed safely and securely.

 

A swinging drawbar such as this one allows the user the option to set the drawbar at the centre or to offset from the centre to allow the tractor to drive outside the path of the implement.
